DENTAL HYGIENISTS

"I first became interested in dental hygiene as a young teen, when I had braces. The technology in dentistry has advanced tremendously over the years and I enjoy learning more and stretching my brain and skills. I love the variety in family practice and love working with patients to help them improve and value their dental health over time. I encourage patients to ask questions – that's what I'm here for!"-Dorinda
Registered Dental Hygienist Dorinda Adams graduated from the dental hygiene program at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and has practiced dental hygiene in three states: Washington, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. She has practiced dental hygiene for over 20 years and has worked for Dr. Ring in University Place since 2003. Dorinda and her husband travel regularly in their free time, most notably to visit family back East – including the newest addition to their family; their granddaughter, Julia.

"My dad was in the second starting dentistry class in the University of Washington School of Dentistry and practiced dentistry in Everett while I was growing up. I worked as a dental assistant during my high school summers and grew to love working with patients. I enjoy helping people learn about their teeth – there is a lot to know and I like seeing people
end up with a healthy mouth that they are proud of." -Judy

DENTAL ASSISTANTS

"I had a lot of dental work done as a child – and then went on to have orthodontics, as well. This experience led me to want to connect with patients one-on-one about their own dental needs and wants. I also love the artistry of dentistry to help patients achieve the smile they want." -Connie
Dental Assistant
Connie Zamora has been working for Dr. Ring as a dental assistant since 2005. Her dedication to patients and good dentistry shines with each patient interaction. When she isn't working, she spends time with her family. Her daughter Miranda just turned three and loves to help Connie browse the aisles of Portland Avenue Nursery in Tacoma, looking for the just the right plant to fill in the yard.
FRONT DESK

"I've always been involved in the health care profession one way or another. Since teeth and smiles have always been important to me, I enrolled in the Dental Assistant program at Clover Park College when I had the opportunity. It gives me great satisfaction to help patients use their insurance benefits to complete treatment for the best end result: a healthier, beautiful smile." -Lynne
